Myron has been preaching and teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ since 1987. His mom instilled within him a desire and love for the Word of God. This passion compels Myron to study the Scriptures daily, rightly dividing the truth. Myron is pursuing a Master of Divinity and Shannon is a Licensed Professional Counselor

Shannon and Myron married in 1993 and have raised two exceptional children. Their son Braxton is now married to Jessica, and they are actively involved in the kingdom of God. Their daughter Brooklyn is in her Senior year at Urshan College and actively engages in kingdom work. The Powells have no greater joy than to know their children love God’s truth!

Shannon and Myron are blessed and honored to serve God together at The Church of Omaha and their community. They desire to advance the kingdom of God on earth until He returns, bringing hope and healing to as many as they can.
